Welcome to Drummoyne District Rugby Football Club, (DDRFC) home of the famous "Dirty Reds" ...the 2000, 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2008 NSW Suburban Rugby Union 1st Grade (Kentwell Cup) winners...along with 1st Division Club (Bruce Graham Shield) Championships in 2004 and 2008.

We are now arguably the leading Amateur Rugby Club in NSW and Australia..... in a time of rampant professionalism. For our rich history, click here

We field 5 senior men's teams, an under 21 Colts team, and until recently ...a Women's team.

Drummoyne Juniors are the oldest Junior Rugby Organization in Australia (1882) and they are stll playing on Drummoyne Oval where they first began. click here for the Junior's website

New players are most welcome to come and play on one of the most scenic venues in Sydney down by the water. Drummoyne are always competitive on the field with lots of social activities planned throughout the year.

2010 Women’s Rugby Union Season  Kicks Off In Drummoyne 

The 2010 Women’s Rugby Union season is about to kick off and aspiring women over the age of sixteen can play for the Drummoyne Women’s Rugby team. The club will be taking registrations for 2010 season on training nights every Tuesday and Thursday at 6.30 pm at Drummoyne oval.

Drummoyne president Mr Colin Fleming said the club had already received a number of enquiries about playing for the women’s team. The interest in Rugby Union in Drummoyne has grown over the last few years.

Women’s Rugby caters for all shapes and sizes  and introduces you to skills and tactical concepts of Rugby, in a safe and fun environment this gives the girls the opportunity to develop their sporting skills and confidence with an emphasis on fair play, safety and sportsmanship.
