Bill McIntyre (1957 - 2011)

Rugby player, rugby coach, musician, sailor, entrepreneur, author, oracle, raconteur, socialite, poker player, chef, drinking-buddy, coffee-buddy or larrikin, it doesn’t matter how you remember Bill he always left a memorable impression.
A man who was as gifted in pros as he was eloquent in voice, he would always be ready to lend his advise and thoughts to all that he believed needed it.
Whether Bill was capturing you attention of anecdotes from his colourful past or engage you with in-sights from his latest book, he was able to engage you mind and make you think and laugh.
A true blue, one-eyed Australian, who thought Australia should win all sports and a true castigator of anything pommie, he will be remember and missed by all.
I apologies in advance that my words can’t truly value this remarkable man, but in his words “that’s what I do” and “give us a break”
Pat Walker
The relatives and friends of BILL are kindly invited to attend his funeral service to be held Thursday (August 11, 2011), in the Magnolia Chapel at the Macquarie Park Crematorium, corner of Plassey and Delhi Roads, commencing at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in BILLS name to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Research.
