Drummoyne played their catch up game against Iggies, on Thursday night. With Iggies, only having 14 players, they were in for a tough encounter, given the previous margin of 45 points in Round 4. The game started a little scrappy, with Drummoyne edging ahead scoring a few well worked tries. After some confident phase play, gaps began to open up and the Dirty Reds were able to create space easily which led Drummoyne to a 35-5 half time lead. In the second half the flood gates opened up with Drummoyne scoring try after try, with the final score 81-5.
